Family:day 70-💯 days of JOY

Standard

I had the pleasure today of seeing my mom. This is always bittersweet for me these days, as she slowly loses a bit more memory and age progressively overcomes her. Yet, I treasure my time with her, even just sitting watching her enjoy her eating meatballs.

On the flip side of age in our family, I also had the honor of holding the newest member of my extended family, my great-nephew Hudson, and spending some precious time with his mom and dad. What a joy that was….all sweetness, no bitter…  and I had lunch with my great-niece and great-great-niece…. which always brings me joy.  Finally, I enjoyed time with one of my other nieces, nephew-in-law, and their other three daughters.

Tomorrow, I will have lunch with my sister then head home…anticipating moving here more and more.
